CrossMyRoute ("we", "us") lets travelers document and share crosses around the world. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account info: your name and email address when you sign up (by email or Google sign-in).
• Your content: crosses you add, photos you upload, visit notes, reflections, and favorites.
• Location data: coordinates you enter or capture for crosses and visits, so they can appear on the map.
• Payment info: purchases are processed by our payment provider (Base44 Payments, powered by Wix). We never see or store your card number; we only keep a record of what you bought and the email you used.
• Advertiser info: if you place an ad, we keep your organization name, contact email, phone, and ad content.

How we use it

• To display your approved cross submissions, visits, and photos to the community.
• To send you account, purchase, and receipt emails (welcome, invoices, receipts, renewal reminders, and the weekly digest).
• To run the map, trip planner, scavenger hunts, and leaderboards.
• To review ads for our religious & family-friendly content policy and to invoice advertisers.

What is public

Approved crosses, logged visit photos and notes, and your public profile contributions are visible to other members and visitors. Private things stay private: your email address and payment records are never shown publicly.

Cookies & analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, and simple analytics to understand app usage. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• You can delete your account at any time from the app (My Journey → account settings), which removes your personal data.
• You can edit or delete your own cross submissions, visits, and photos.
• You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in any email.

Children

CrossMyRoute is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
